Why we exist

A global standard of Odoo, from a partner who knows the ground you run on.

One that understands KRA eTIMS and Uganda’s EFRIS, that knows how an M-Pesa paybill reconciles to the ledger, and that is still on the phone the year after go-live. We started Advance Insight to be that partner on this continent, and to do it properly.

Our story

How we got here.

Advance Insight was founded in 2021, but the experience behind it is much older. Its founders had spent close to two decades working in and alongside African SMEs, learning how these businesses actually run long before they scoped a single Odoo project. They had done that work themselves: filing returns with the local tax authority, reconciling thousands of M-Pesa payments by hand, managing stock variances, chasing supplier payments, keeping shops stocked and trucks on the road, running payroll in a spreadsheet because nothing off the shelf fit. Knowing those daily struggles first-hand is what Advance Insight is built on.

Before 2021
Two decades with African SMEs

Twenty years working in and with SMEs across the continent, the latest decade of it on Odoo, learning where head-office rollouts come apart on the ground.
2021
Advance Insight, Nairobi

We set up in Nairobi to do it differently: scope the business first, build for local reality, and stay on after go-live.
2022
eBee, live in month one

eBee put its whole operation on Odoo in its first month in business, later cloning the same database to launch in Uganda.
2023–25
Best Partner, Africa

Odoo named us Best Partner for the Africa region three years running.
Today
60+ clients, 20+ countries

2,500+ Odoo users across East Africa and beyond, through eTIMS, EFRIS and every M-Pesa edge case in between. Most of our first clients are still with us.

An ERP is never finished. The work starts on day one of go-live.
