PAYOUTS

Sourcing in cash, selling on trust, reporting in spreadsheets.

Agribusinesses across East Africa source from thousands of smallholders, pay in cash or mobile money, grade on intake and sell to buyers who want to know exactly where produce came from. Hold that together in spreadsheets and the gaps show: member balances drift, payouts are slow, and traceability is a scramble when a buyer asks. Odoo puts sourcing, the farmer registry, payouts and the books in one place.

FAQ

Agribusiness questions.

The five we get asked on almost every agribusiness call.

Ask us something else →
01 Can Odoo pay farmers and members by M-Pesa?

Yes. We connect Odoo to M-Pesa for B2C payouts so growers and members are paid straight from the system, with deductions, advances and the resulting ledger entries handled automatically.

02 Does it give export buyers traceability?

Yes. Lot and batch tracking follows produce from the farm plot through grading, processing and dispatch, so you can answer where a consignment came from and produce the documentation an export buyer or certifier asks for.

03 Can it handle cooperative member accounting?

Yes. Each member has an account with deliveries, advances, input credit and deductions, and members can see their balance. The cooperative reports at member, season and product level.

04 Does it support quality grading and weighbridge intake?

Yes. Intake can capture grade, moisture and weight, including weighbridge hardware where you have it, and price the delivery against the grade automatically.

05 We already run Odoo but agriculture isn't set up right. Can you fix it?

Often, yes. A good share of our work is taking over Odoo databases another partner set up. For agribusiness we check the member accounts, intake and payout flows first, then either correct the setup or cost out a clean rebuild against carrying on patching.

Run your agribusiness on Odoo.

Tell us what you grow, source or trade and how you pay your farmers. We'll scope the build and give you a fixed number first.

Where are you right now?

Pick whichever fits. The next step is the same: a short call.
